Validate a tax return

Prior to validating, ensure that the Tax Agent details have been completed correctly. See: How to setup staff and/or firm as a tax agent

  1. Ensure that the clients Tax File Number (TFN) has been entered in the client's details.
  2. Open the client return and click Validate.PNG
  3. If validation errors appear, click on each one to be taken to the error in the main return or schedule.
  4. Clear all errors and re-validate
  5. If more validation errors appear, repeat steps 4 & 5.
Note: If a validation error is stating that a schedule must be attached, clicking on the error will not open that schedule. Please click on the Schedules tab and navigate to the schedule mentioned in the validation error
